Also, I am working on setting up a new blog with Wordpress. So. please keep checking back, because I am excited about where the next phase of my life, art and business are going. I am taking part in an online seminar on personal branding and wondering about my name Chongolio. Is it easily remembered? Is it catchy or weird sounding? Does it capture the imagination or make you want to take flight? I have been using Chongolio for years as an online entity and artist but now thinking about using my other less exotic sounding name RDBcreative instead. Your thoughts are appreciated
I got an invite to try the the Google Music cloud so I hooked up my external drive with all my music backed up and let it go to work. A few songs were denied because of DMR or unsupported file types, but for the most part so far so good

Blue sharpie doodles II. This time I tried a thin layer of Mod Podge over the acrylic paint background to see if the sharpie went on a little smoother. It didn't and I burned through another new sharpie doing this page.

art journal snaps #7
blue sharpie doodles over an acrylic background on gessoed paper. My pens got really clogged up and the nibs all kinds of chewed up. Next time I am gonna try a light coat of Mod Podge over background to see if that helps

This World Needs More Flying Monkeys!
"This World Needs More Flying Monkeys!" I drew this ape airman in my sketch book then scanned and colored it in. Once colored I cut it out and pasted in my art journal. The background is random layers created with sharpies, brush pens, acrylic paints, ink and what not.

Skull and cross bones from my art journal
This is was done using a bunch of different layers. The background is acrylic paint on gesso, the bones were cut from another background I did and the skull was cut from a gesso covered paper bag. Then I used sharpies and texture stamps over everything for the details. This was a really fun one to make
